Legal Documentation & Advisory.

Most disputes trace back to a document that was never checked properly, or never existed at all. That's where the preparation begins.

Legal Documentation & Advisory

Legal documentation is handled for individuals, families and businesses across Kharar and Mohali — agreements before they're signed, notices before they're sent, and opinions before a decision is made. Every document is drafted or reviewed with the same question in mind: what happens if this is ever tested in court.

Where a document already exists and a dispute has started, it's read first — line by line — before any advice is given. Where nothing exists yet, it's drafted to hold up, not just to look complete.

Agreements, legal notices, affidavits, wills, powers of attorney and written legal opinions prepared and vetted.

The work, set out plainly.

Agreements & Deeds

Drafting and vetting of sale agreements, rent agreements, business contracts and other deeds.

Legal Notices

Notices for recovery, eviction, breach of contract and other matters requiring a formal demand.

Wills & Powers of Attorney

Drafting of wills, and general or special powers of attorney, including for execution from abroad.

Legal Opinions

Written opinions on title, contracts and legal risk, before a transaction or decision is finalised.

Four movements, always in the same order.

01

Instructions

The requirement is understood in full before a single word is drafted.

02

Draft

A first draft is prepared, with the reasoning behind each clause explained, not just the clause itself.

03

Review

The draft is reviewed and revised together, until it says exactly what's intended.

04

Execution

The document is finalised, and — where needed — notarised, registered, or witnessed appropriately.

What to bring to the first meeting.

A focused first meeting is a fast one. Bring whatever's available, and you'll usually leave with a clear view of what's needed next.

Details of what the document needs to achieve

Any existing draft or template already in hand

Identity documents of all parties involved

Property or transaction details, if relevant

Any prior agreement the new document relates to

Timeline — when the document is needed by

Situations often seen.

Most people don't arrive with a legal category in mind — they arrive with a situation. A few that come up often:

An agreement was signed on a template downloaded online, and it's now unclear whether it actually protects anyone.

A tenant or buyer needs a formal notice sent before the next step can be taken.

A will was never made, and the family is now unsure how property should be divided.

A business deal is moving fast, and a contract is needed before terms are finalised verbally.

A Power of Attorney is needed urgently, often for someone travelling or living abroad.

A decision — a purchase, an investment, a signature — needs a second opinion before it's made.

Questions, answered.

Is a notarised document the same as a registered one?

No. Notarisation confirms a signature was made in front of a notary; registration records the document with the government and is often legally required for property-related deeds. Which one applies depends on the document.

Can a will be changed later?

Yes, a will can be revised or replaced at any time while the person making it is alive and of sound mind. Only the most recent valid will is given effect.
